As I inch closer to my 34th birthday, I wanted to share my absolute favorite face serum I’ve ever had. After researching a ton of anti- aging products (following my 31st birthday), I noticed a ton of preservatives and fillers I can’t have due to my autoimmune disease. So the hunt and test began to make my very own. Because while aging gracefully is a beautiful thing, I also love taking good care of my skin. This nourishes, hydrates, and gives you a “youthful glow.”

About three years later, I still love the way it feels- rich without being too heavy or waxy.

You can change the carrier oil to best match your skin and for less than $10 (including the pretty dropper bottle). One bottle lasts me about two months, sometimes longer depending on the dryness of my skin. Carrier oils are vegetable oils made from nuts, seeds, or kernels of plants. For best results, you will want a carrier oil that is cold- pressed, unrefined, and with no additives.

Carrier Oil Types

For Dry Skin:

Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Sesame Oil

Oily Skin:

Grapeseed Oil, Argan Oil, Safflower Oil, Sunflower Oil

Combination Oil:

Grapeseed, Jojoba, Apricot Kernel Oil, Hemp Seed Oil

You can also mix and match carrier oils to best suit your skin. For me, I stick with Coconut, Grapeseed, or Jojoba Oil.

For a spa like experience in my bathroom (after the kids go to bed) I will us my jade roller to help destress and unwind and help with my issues of TMJ.

Jade rollers are also great with brightening your complexion, reducing puffiness, stimulating lymphatic drainage, and increasing blood circulation. Add a jade roller with a bottle serum and you’ve got yourself an AWESOME gift idea for a bestie or a loved one for less than $15.

XOXO,
